Litigation

When clients become involved in a legal dispute, our litigation lawyers have the depth and breadth of experience to step in and protect their interests. We know these circumstances can be stressful and unpredictable and our goal is to achieve a timely and cost effective resolution whenever possible.

We recognize that clients wish to avoid lengthy and costly litigation. We will provide you with the options that are available, determine a strategy that meets your needs and then work hard on the most direct route to that outcome.

We deal with a broad range of cases and represent individuals and businesses with pursuing or defending court actions. Please take time to look through our specific areas of expertise which include:

  • Bankruptcy and Insolvency
  • Brain Injury
  • Commercial Litigation
  • Construction Litigation
  • Employment Law
  • Family Law
  • Insurance Litigation
  • Maritime Law
  • Personal Injury
  • Wills and Estates Litigation

We strive to resolve cases through negotiation and we will advocate mediation in appropriate circumstances. When issues cannot be resolved through these channels, we will fight for your rights and aggressively pursue a fair solution through the courts. Our litigators are experienced trial lawyers and have appeared in all levels of Court

It takes experience and judgment to know when to litigate and when to settle. We only recommend litigation when negotiations have been unsuccessful and when the probable gains of proceeding to trial outweigh the risks and costs.

We can assist you. Please do not hesitate to contact one of our litigation lawyers for more information or to schedule a confidential consultation.
