Alf carries on a litigation practice concentrating on labour and employment law as well as commercial and insolvency litigation matters.
 
Alf is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Bachelor of Law Degree. He joined Pushor Mitchell in 1982 and became a partner in 1985. He is the author of a number of articles on labour and employment and has spoken to many diverse groups on these topics.

 

Allan has a litigation practice with a specific focus on construction law, wills and estate disputes and personal injury law. He has successfully represented clients with a wide range of personal and business disputes.

 

Andrea practices in the area of business law, with an emphasis on complex commercial transactions and First Nations transactions.  In addition to her law firm experience, Andrea has acted as in-house counsel for a private corporation and a public body, managing drafting and negotiating commercial agreements in a wide variety of areas.

 

Andrew practices in the areas of business law, real estate law and wills and estates.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in 2002 and his Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 2006 and then to the bar in British Columbia in 2008. 

 

Ashleigh is an associate lawyer at Pushor Mitchell LLP who practices primarily in the areas of family and criminal law.

 

Blair’s practice area is business law with a specific focus on corporate, securities and technology law matters.

 

Brad’s practice encompasses a full range of business law matters as well as significant experience with real estate development and estate planning.

 

Brian practices in the area of civil litigation with a focus on family law.

 

Clarke practices law in the area of criminal litigation and civil litigation.

In his criminal law practice, Clarke has extensive experience preparing and defending our clients. He has represented individuals and companies on everything from minor motor vehicle offences to serious crimes. He also represents the Attorney General of Canada as a prosecutor for offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Income Tax Act, Bankruptcy Act and other Federal Acts. 

 

Curtis practices in all areas of business law, estate planning and administration, and real estate law.

 
 

Dustin is developing a general litigation practice.

 

Geord’s practice deals with all areas of real estate law and business law, with a particular focus on real estate development.  He has lengthy experience in raising private capital under exemptions within the Securities Act and Rules, and has acted for developers of projects in foreign jurisdictions marketing within British Columbia.  He also has a niche practice in adoption law

 

Greg practices in litigation, with an emphasis on personal injury matters, employment-related disputes, real estate/strata disputes, and corporate/commercial disputes.  Greg has successfully represented clients in both British Columbia and Alberta at various levels of courts and alternative dispute resolution forums.

 

James’ practice includes a wide range of business law matters, real estate law and estate planning.

 

Joni’s practice encompasses a range of civil litigation areas, including estate litigation, wills and labour and employment issues, and disputes related to real property.

 

Keri’s practice is focused on personal injury and is limited to acting on behalf of the injured.  She also practices employment law.  Her passion is people.  She has found great satisfaction in helping people whose lives have been tragically impacted by unforeseeable events.

 

Lisa practices exclusively in the area of family law and heads our Family Law Group.

 

Mark Baron has been a trial lawyer for over 30 years.  The focus of his practise for his entire career has been confined to civil litigation.  He has extensive experience in construction/real estate matters, employment law, and personal injury matters.  Mark has appeared in all levels of court in the province including the British Columbia Supreme Court and the B.C. Court of Appeal as well as the Federal Court of Canada.

 

Mark practices in the area of civil litigation with a focus on construction and employment matters.

 

Matt is developing a litigation practice with a focus on real estate litigation, strata law, estate disputes and insolvency issues.

 

Matt’s practice is focused on the area of tax law, and includes the areas of business law, tax litigation, trusts and estate planning.


 

 

Melodie is a tax and estate planning lawyer, whose practice includes the areas of wills and estate planning, trusts and corporate law.

 

Nick practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and criminal law, representing and assisting clients in a range of matters at both the Provincial and Supreme Court levels.

 

Paul's practice area is personal injury and is limited to acting on behalf of the injured, with an emphasis on brain injury claims, spinal injuries, death claims and medical malpractice claims. He also has considerable experience in product liability cases, and has been involved in cases against motor vehicle manufacturers in Canada, the United States, and the United.Kingdom. He is a past member of the Board of Governors and Executive of the Trial Lawyers Association of B.C.

 

Richard practices primarily in the area of criminal law including public prosecution work for the Department of Justice.

 

Rick is the founding partner of Pushor Mitchell. His scope of practice includes a primary focus on business law with extensive experience in the areas of real estate development, real estate transactions, and estate planning.

 

Ron’s practice areas are primarily business law, real estate law, estate planning and financial institution security.

 

Steve’s practice is litigation based with a considerable emphasis on commercial disputes, insurance defence, real estate litigation work as well as realization and bankruptcy and insolvency issues.

 

 Sue’s practice deals with all areas of business law, real estate law and estate planning.

 

Taryn is a member of the firm’s Family Law Group. Her practice in general civil litigation includes a specific focus on family law. 

 

Theresa has a well established business and estate law practice and is highly regarded for her expertise with First Nations transactions and estate planning. She has extensive experience advising individuals and companies in these areas. She began practicing law in 1982, joined Pushor Mitchell in 1985 becoming a partner one year later, and has previously filled the role of Managing Partner for the firm.

 

Tom’s practice includes a wide range of tax law matters including tax planning, company law, corporate reorganizations, trusts, estate planning and succession planning for family businesses for clients. He has considerable experience dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency and representing taxpayers in income tax and GST appeals. Tom also advises clients with charitable giving and has established a large number of non-profit societies, registered charities and private foundations.

 

Una’s practice area involves business law, wills and estates, trusts, real estate and employment law. During her time with Pushor Mitchell she has been involved in a number of cases and transactions in these areas.

 

Vanessa practices in the areas of business law, real estate and wills and estates. As a Registered Trade-mark agent with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, her business law practice has a specific focus on intellectual property law, including filing Canadian and US trade-mark applications and advising clients on infringement issues. Her real estate practice is expanding to serve purchasers and vendors of freehold property and First Nations Land Developments.
