Current Openings

Pushor Mitchell is currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal to join our growing Estate Litigation practice group.  This is a full time, permanent position and is ideal for anyone wanting to join a firm that takes pride in having a positive work atmosphere, where growth and professional development are supported.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing and drafting various correspondence and documents including court pleadings;
  • Conducting probate registry searches;
  • Setting court dates, discoveries and communicating with registries;
  • Arranging court filings and applications;
  • Liaising with legal assistants, paralegals, lawyers and clients on file progress;
  • General administrative duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal Program with relevant experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and workloads;
  • Ability to work closely with a team of lawyers and other support staff;
  • Great customer service attitude;
  • Professional and courteous demeanor;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products is an asset;

  • Understanding of Tribunal bodies
  • Setting court dates, discoveries
  • Arranging court filings and applications
  • Liaising with legal assistants, paralegals, lawyers and clients on file progress
  • General administrative duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal Program with relevant experience preferred
