H.R. Assistant

We are seeking an energetic individual that enjoys providing excellence in people practices,; works well under pressure and thrives in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years HR experience, with a minimum 1 year payroll processing experience. Skill with handling sensitive personnel information confidentially and professionally, as well as have the ability to exercise sound judgment is required. This position also requires a good knowledge of HR theories, practices, legislation, and resources. A strong proficiency with MS Office is essential, as is effective communication and customer service skills. Experience with the Ceridian Dayforce time/payroll system is an asset.

The HR Assistant role provides support with all transactional human resources functions, and is a full time 7.5 hour shift Monday to Friday with flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Verifying time inputs and Processing Full cycle Payroll
  • Benefits administration
  • Recruiting and Onboarding support
  • Personnel file management
  • Providing professional and friendly employee relation functions
  • Support for HR projects and initiatives
  • Coordinating employee recognition programs

Legal Administrative Assistants

Due to continuing business growth, we have several opportunities for permanent full time Legal Administrative Assistants in our Solicitor based practice areas. These roles are well suited for candidates that have completed the appropriate legal of education and have 1-2 years’ work experience in the legal industry.
