We are seeking an energetic individual that enjoys providing excellence in people practices,; works well under pressure and thrives in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years HR experience, with a minimum 1 year payroll processing experience. Skill with handling sensitive personnel information confidentially and professionally, as well as have the ability to exercise sound judgment is required. This position also requires a good knowledge of HR theories, practices, legislation, and resources. A strong proficiency with MS Office is essential, as is effective communication and customer service skills. Experience with the Ceridian Dayforce time/payroll system is an asset.
The HR Assistant role provides support with all transactional human resources functions, and is a full time 7.5 hour shift Monday to Friday with flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed.
