He walks his clients through some of the most challenging times that arise from WorkSafeBC and disability cases. Recognizing that these times are stressful and highly emotional, Mark provides empathetic, practical, and fair legal advice customized to each client’s needs.

For almost 20 years he has advised and represented clients in labour and employment law, Workers’ Compensation claims, appeals, assessments and Occupational Health and Safety. And like you, Mark is committed to and takes pride in providing responsive, common sense advice and solutions that assist you in achieving your goals. He has appeared as counsel in British Columbia at the WorkSafeBC Review Division, Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal and in Alberta at the Dispute Resolution and Decision Review Body (DRDRB) and the Appeals Commission for Workers’ Compensation. Mark has also represented clients in mediations and arbitrations.

In addition, he assists clients with the drafting and implementation of Human Resource, disability, WorkSafeBC and Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.

He recently became a civil mediator and family law mediator.

Mark earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Queen’s University. Then he travelled west and earned his law degree from the University of British Columbia’s Allard School of Law.

Away from the office, Mark keeps active with hockey, basketball and above all, his family. His family includes his wonderful wife and two very active hockey playing boys who are pursuing their dreams. This means you will often see Mark at rinks across BC and Western Canada and the US.
