Kelowna General Hospital Foundation
The Kelowna General Hospital Foundation was established in 1978 to support the growing demand by local philanthropists to close the gap between the provincial standard and what is possible in the delivery of advanced medical care in the southern interior. They are the lead fundraising organization for the Kelowna General Hospital and its associated care facilities, JoeAnna’s House and the Central Okanagan Hospice House. Their vision “World Class Health Care at Home” describes the Foundation’s hope that world class health care is not the purview of large cities alone and that through innovation, technology, and commitment world class healthcare can be made available to everyone wherever they may call home.
Pushor Mitchell Partner Eric Ledding is a member of the Advisory Cabinet for the KGH Foundation’s Campaign. The cabinet’s goal is to build strategic collaborative partnerships to advance healthcare at KGH and across the community as part of their “Closer to Home Than You Think” campaign to raise $40 million for healthcare needs that include eight priorities in our region.
