Pushor Mitchell Partner Clarke Burnett Appointed A Judge of the Provincial Court

We are pleased to announce that Clarke Burnett was appointed as a judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia on February 20, 2019 and will be sworn in on February 25th. He will be assigned to the Interior Region with Chambers in Kelowna.

Clarke graduated from the University of British Columbia with an LL.B in 1991 and joined Pushor Mitchell as an associate the following year. His early practice focused on civil and personal injury litigation. In 1995, he expanded his practice to include both criminal defense and prosecution work as an agent for the Department of Justice, now called the Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC). The majority of his practice has been criminal defense and prosecution work for the PPSC.

Clarke has contributed significantly to our firm and to the legal industry over the past twenty-seven years. The lawyers and staff proudly congratulate Clarke on his appointment.
