
Steve’s practice is litigation based with a considerable emphasis on commercial disputes, insurance defence, real estate litigation work as well as realization and bankruptcy and insolvency issues.
He obtained both a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of British Columbia. He joined Pushor Mitchell in 1994 and became a partner in 2000.
He has years of experience in the preparation and the timely delivery of concise legal opinions. His belief is that the best results are achieved when matters are thoroughly reviewed at the outset so that conduct of each file is focused and directed, thereby minimizing costs and maximizing results. Steve has represented a diverse range of clients in matters at all levels of court in British Columbia. He also has significant experience with insolvency and restructuring proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.
