
Rick is the founding partner of Pushor Mitchell. His scope of practice includes a primary focus on business law with extensive experience in the areas of real estate development, real estate transactions, and estate planning.
In his business law practice, Rick possesses a broad base of knowledge with business formation, financing, restructuring, acquisition, and share and asset transactions. This knowledge and understanding have helped him earn and maintain longstanding relationships with his clients.
In his real estate practice, Rick has extensive experience advising individuals and companies on a wide range of transactions from freehold properties to strata units to fractional developments. He also has considerable experience with development projects and has represented developers, builders and investors for some of the largest projects in the Okanagan.
Rick completed his undergraduate degree and law degree at the University of Alberta. He relocated to Kelowna in 1974 and has been practicing with Pushor Mitchell ever since. Throughout his career, Rick has been involved in the management of the firm and has been involved in numerous community and sports organizations.
Away from the office, in the summer Rick can be found golfing (or seeking golf clubs that work) or waterskiing and in the winter Rick can be found golfing (in some warm spot) or downhill skiing at Big White.
