Leona Baxter

Leona practices primarily in the areas of personal injury and maritime insurance. She joined Pushor Mitchell in 2002 from a Vancouver personal injury firm.

Leona provides experienced advice for clients whose lives have been adversely affected by a personal injury such as: brain injury, chronic pain, spinal cord injury, insurance claims as well as motor vehicle accidents. She has appeared on behalf of clients in British Columbia Supreme Court, Provincial Court and at mediations.

She has international client exposure working with maritime and marine insurance law issues. She is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Japanese.

Away from the office, Leona is kept busy caring for her infant twins, and when time permits riding her horse and playing the piano when called upon by family and friends.

Representation for clients with head injuries or significant spinal cord injuries.
Negotiating and advising on collisions at sea, cargo damage, wreck removal and pollution liability.
