Brian Anslow

Brian practices in the area of civil litigation with a focus on family law.

After earning his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Alberta, Brian started his legal career in Edmonton where he practiced for over five years and successfully appeared in all levels of Court, including the Court of Appeal.  Brian is a member of the B.C. and Alberta Law Society and is qualified to practice in both jurisdictions.

Brian has helped clients resolve all matters involved in family law including issues regarding children, support and property.  He believes in working with clients to find the most suitable method of resolution to meet their immediate needs and long term goals; focussing, whenever possible, on methods that help clients to decrease conflict and facilitate communication.

Away from the office, Brian can usually be found outside taking advantage of Kelowna’s temperate climate and the numerous outdoor activities the Okanagan has to offer.
 

Practice Focus: 
Divorce: advises clients, negotiate settlements and/or bring court applications for divorce, custody, access, support and property division.
Common-law separation: advises clients, negotiate settlements and/or bring court applications for guardianship, custody, access, support and property division.
Preparation of family law agreements including: prenuptial agreements, co-habitation agreements, marriage agreements and separation agreements.
Representing clients in all aspects of family law, including: custody, guardianship, access, child support, spousal support and property division.
