A Gift For Life Campaign; The Christmas Catalogue

On Wednesday, December 5th, 2007, KGH Foundation announced our new campaign, A Gift for Life Campaign: The Christmas Catalogue.

This year KGH Foundation’s signature campaign will focus on resource development for a range of new, high-tech equipment for all areas of care from neonatal/pediatrics to cardiac, including the Emergency Room, OR, Critical Care Unit, Lab and Digital Imaging.  KGH Foundation board members Ron Solmer and Shirley-Anne Eccott will co-chair this new signature campaign to raise $1 million in 2008.

KGH Foundation is publishing The Christmas Catalogue in time for the traditional season of giving in the month of December, featuring some of the priority pieces of equipment for our new campaign, generously sponsored by the lawyers of Pushor Mitchell LLP.

Established over 30 years ago, Pushor Mitchell has a long tradition of community involvement and support for many worthwhile causes. From healthcare to the arts, and education to social services, Pushor Mitchell takes pride in enhancing the quality of life for residents of the Central Okanagan. This year, they are delighted to announce a signature partner ship with the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation’s A Gift for Life Campaign: The Christmas Catalogue. This new initiative will raise $1 million to upgrade and purchase vital medical equipment and technology at KGH, and serve to equip our talented medical staff to save lives – maybe even the life of someone you know.

In this season of giving, please consider giving a Gift for Life and join Pushor Mitchell’s friends and family by helping support the Kelowna General Hospital Foundation’s efforts to build a stronger hospital. A Gift for Life Campaign will help KGH improve the delivery of healthcare for all of us.
