Canada And Japan Expand Air Services Agreement


Transport Canada announced on February 5, 2007, a new bilateral agreement between Canada and Japan, concluded January 25, 2007, which is likely to result in the expansion of air services between the countries. The new agreement will also facilitate greater route flexibility for the operation of code-share services. Transport Canada reports that: “In 2008, further air transportation negotiations are expected to take place between Canada and Japan.
