Banks Fight Patent Trolls


There is news that some US banks are preparing to extend their fight against “patent trolls”.  Patent trolls are generally considered to be companies which hold patents but do not make the products covered by their patents.  Rather these companies get their revenue from suing others for infringing their patents.  This has long been a problem for banks in the US given the patentability of business methods which are often directed to financial methods.
