Criminal Law
The consequences of being charged and found guilty of a criminal offence can be devastating emotionally and financially and can lead to the loss of personal liberty. Simply being charged with a criminal offence, however, does not mean that you will be found guilty. Pushor Mitchell LLP has experienced criminal lawyers who have defended corporations and individuals charged with the most serious of crimes to the most minor of regulatory offences.
We are able to provide a thorough defence to all of our clients as a result of not only our lawyers skills, but also their ability to access other resources such as private investigators, private polygraphers and other experts to assist in preparing the defence for our clients.
As our firm acts as prosecutors for the Attorney General of Canada prosecuting drug offences, Income Tax Act offences, Bankruptcy Act offences, and other federal offences, we have developed a strong rapport with members of the R.C.M.P. and other investigative agencies. This provides us with the advantage of being able to access those individuals and agencies in an effort to resolve the issues faced by our client.
Our goal in representing our clients is to resolve matters at the earliest stage of the proceedings so as to minimize their stress and stigma that arise when dealing with the consequences of criminal or regulatory offences.
